Meateor Bites are an up and coming food truck company who needed a brand image that would set them apart in an ultra competitive market in the California area. Meateor Bites are proud of their thoughtfully sourced ingredients and “out of this world” flavour.
The proposed icon for this project bolsters the concept of Meateor Bites – Otherworldly Meatballs. The icon plays with the concept of a Meatball imagined as a Meteorite, crashing down to Earth from some distant location. The colour palette conveys a feeling of warmth and nostalgia, the 8-bit graphics used in the logomark work quickly to draw the eye. Finally, the typographic treatment evokes once more a sense of classic 8-bit graphics to tie the whole design together.
