Tomas Malo is one of the most sought after Disco/House Producers & DJ’s in Mexico City. His influence on the New Disco climate has brought him global recognition and is widely considered to be a pioneer and innovator of the House scene.
We developed an identity for Tomas Malo which employs a custom made logotype. Our work sees geometric shapes, hierarchies, and reticulated arrangements in order to attain harmonic informational structure and simplicity. The resulting work distinguishes itself through pattern applications within each letter intended to symbolise both the simple and complex patterns found in Tomas’s music.
The colour palette leans toward black, reminding us of night clubs and musical gigs while simultaneously representing the formality and professional part of the company’s personality. Contrast is gained through use of white highlights to compliment the black and accentuate the class which oozes from it.
Golden touches add elegance and exclusiveness, something that Tomas Malo provides in abundance.
